    Interesting

I recently created a new thread about the Corvetteforum websight troubles this morning. A short time later I got an eMail message that said that someone had just responded to the thread. Now when I go to the NCRS websight I can't even find my original thread!

Now the original thread is back!!! Is there that much lag between posting and when it actually shows up?

It now seems that even though I exited the NCRS websight (after creating the thread), when I click on the NCRS websight in my "Favorite Places" it takes me to a version that is several hours old. Therefore, my thread hasn't gotten there yet! But if I copy and paste the NCRS address from the eMail alert, I am taken to a much more recent version.

    Re: Interesting

That happened to me awhile back but in my case it was something I did to my computer or Firefox settings. I had a friend straighten it out for me.

Jim, first moved your post to the Help Forum. You can always find the posts you've made from the "My Posts" pull down on the menu bar. Secondly, some ISP's use caching, which affects what you see - AOL is the worst for this, particularly if you use the back arrow key. There's a good FAQ written about AOL caching. When in doubt do a page reload or Control/F5 to get the most current page. Gary....

          Re: Interesting

I now have my "Favorite Places" go to the NCRS Discussion Boards. Then I click on "Technical Discussion" from there. This seems to direct me to the latest posts. (I don't have this type of problem with the CF.)
