    Server Busy

    Guy's,

    Tonight at 7:46 pm I received server is busy message while reading the technical board. It last about a minute & a half before I was able to get through.

      Dennis, Here I thought it was only me. Had the same problem. I did notice a ton of members on line at the time. JD

          I ended up having trouble for over 30 minutes last night. A few times I did get on and after reading a thread I couldn't get to another. I did check one time and there were 137 users on line.

                  Guys,

                  Do a traceroute from the DOS Command prompt or from Windows Start button search and you'll see where your connection is hanging up.

                  The NCRS server has been up all the time and not had any down time nor not been available.

                  The Internet is an information highway with lots of connections and detours.

                  When you encounter non response, do the traceroute command and post the results of where the failed or long response connection is occurring.

                  You can google traceroute or ping functions and read about these commands in one of the Wikis.
