Picture in thread, but I can't see it

I would really like to see it. He says it shows up fine for him, but I can't see it. What gives?

FireFox 4 works good, you ought to upgrade.

I would upgrade if I could, but I'm at work. The IT guys determine which versions of which programs get pushed down to our machines. The weird thing is, I can see images in other posts.

Didn't realize you were using a work PC. Would strongly suspect the IT weinies errr techs have either virus control or permissions settings configured where you can't view embedded photos.

Hinckley's photos in the thread you reference are on a photo sharing website like photobucket and not hosted on the NCRS website.

Are the photos you can see appear as thumbnails (hosted on NCRS website) below the text and you can click on them to see them or are they embedded with the text (hosted on a photo sharing website)?

Thanks for the helpful hints link. Unfortunately, I still couldn't see it. It just looks like a lot of blank space in Firefox. So I tried IE. I could tell there were images because there were red X's, but that was it. It didn't look like I could play with the settings in IE at all. So I guess I will try it at home this weekend. I can see thumbnails that are posted on the NCRS web site. I can also see PhotoBucket embedded images. John must be using some other program.

If you get a blank spot in the email - move your mouse over that spot and see if you can copy the URL with a mouse right click.

My guess is your IT guys have that site blocked or not permitted. You might ask them to permit that website and see what happens.

I tried it from home, it worked fine. One more reason to retire, I suppose.
