    Delete picture

Just tried to post a picture that I had already posted months ago so I couldn't repost it. I tried to delete the original and repost but I don't seem to be able to delete the original. Thanks.

    Confused

    Michael,

Link to FAQ with info on how to post a photo that's been posted before. FAQ's are always a good resource to check first. John spent a lot of time compiling them to help everyone.

Thanks Gary. I looked at it. I don't see anything about just deleting a photo though. Maybe I'm just too old to figure it out? I used to be able to delete photos.

        Michael,

No reason to delete a photo. Use the instructions to post from the FAQ to post a link to the original photo.

If you want to delete a photo or attachment:
        1) click on User Profile
        2) click on Attachments
        3) select photos you want to delete

          Gary,

Thanks. It's not important and I know I don't have to delete photos but I no longer have the option do do so if I choose to. That's exactly what I tried to do but there wasn't a box to check to delete.
          Oh well, no big deal.

          Michael

            Michael,

There's a check box over on the right hand side of each attachment. Check that box and then scroll down to the bottom of the page. On the right hand side there should be a "delete selection" button.

              Gary,

I don't have a box to check. Really. I used to have boxes there but they're gone.
I couldn't capture a screen shot on computer so I did it manually.

I don't have a delete box either. For some odd reason I have a duplicate pic in my attachments and was going to ditch the second copy.

I have several duplicates also. That's another reason why I wanted to go back and weed out some of the extras from years ago. I have pic's way back to 2006.

..... Thanks. I couldn't think of any other way to do it. I guess necessity really is the mother of invention.
