Re: Shipping Data Report model years
Per the NCRS Historical Documentation Service ".... certain information contained in 1962 after number 6000 and through 1975 (with some limited data) Corvette Month Car Shipped Reports." (Link on Home Page)
I noticed that your Model Year Icon for your question listed "78-82". I believe the 1981-82 Bowling Green cars build sheets are available from the National Corvette Museum. While not the "Build Sheet", copies of the actual shipping document listing RPO codes, dates, dealer, etc are available from GM Archives for 1978-81 St. Louis Cars. I got mine several years ago when the service was gratis, I think they cost about $40 now days.Judging Chairman Mid-Way USA (Kansas) Chapter- Top

Re: Shipping Data Report model years
Is there an address, phone number to call, etc...? How do I contact the GM Archive center to get the information on my 1978 car?
It seems the 1976-1980 are in limbo obtaining info from NCRS and NCM.
Thanks

Re: Shipping Data Report model years
Barry, the information is at the link below. Quote from the GM Archive page "... The vehicle invoice collection is the documentation of the vehicle cost broken out by model and factory options. It contains the original ship to dealer information, MSRP and invoice number that General Motors used to bill the dealer. The collection is archived on microfilm, microfiche, CD and is organized by VIN number. The collection covers almost all cars & trucks produced in the United States starting in the mid 1970's.* Vehicle Invoices are printed from microfilm or microfiche then scanned and emailed as an Adobe PDF for $50 USD. ...." (*Corvette information available from 1977)
