1) Change the color of the bar that separates the topics when I click on "new Posts) and a number of unread posts come up? It looks like the default is grey - is there a way to change that? I went into "My Profile" but it didn't seem to affect that area??
2) Change the default so that when I log on, it always goes to the Technical Discussion Board forum instead of the "menu" and then I have to click on the TDB forum link?

1) I don't believe you can change it

2) tick the remember me checkbox when logging in and then save the URL (make it a favorite) of the page you desire to open directly. Then use that favorite to go to the site.
