    iPad Use

It seems that you can't post to the Forum using the iPad. After entering subject line I'm unable to get into the subject box.

    Re: iPad Use

    Stephen,

My iPad works fine as far as logging in and posting, etc. Copy, cut & paste with an iPad is another story.

Enter subject line and then scroll downward. You have to tap in that area to bring up the iPad keyboard.

    Please provide more detail.

      Re: iPad Use

Well the reply works but when I attempt to post a new message it will not allow me to get into the text box that I'm using right now. I'll try again and do a better documentation job.

        Steve,

You'll have to play with Safari on your iPad to understand it's idiosyncrasies. Everything's done with swiping action on the iPad and iPhone Safari browser. Where as on a PC you'll have slider bars.

Like I said. Enter the subject. Scroll down/swipe down a bit and touch the screen. The on screen keyboard will display and Safari will display the text box to enter your new thread text.

          Gary,

While using an IPad, I have also experienced problems with the drop down menus at the top of the page with multiple choices. The drop down box will open up but close again before you can select the item you want.

          Regards,

          Dennis

            Dennis,

They're all issues with the Safari browser. To bad there's not Chrome or FireFox for the iPad/iPhone.

Below are what the Tech pundits say are the best rated browsers for iPads:
            - Dolphin
            - Skyfire, converts Flash content to play on an iPad
            - iCab
            - Opera Mini

I tried Opera Mini. It was OK. Didn't like using a remote server. Have not tried any others.
