I didn't make it down quite that far (almost, but not quite).

I can tell you this: I-64 carries more traffic than it was ever designed to carry. From Richmond out to Williamsburg and beyond it's bumper-to-bumper at speed, at least every time I was on it.
Be ready for it if you have a vehicle + trailer.
