There is a problem using iPad on site. This is actually the first time I could enter text into the main message "box".

I can always enter a title or tags but usually can't enter message text.

I just went back to enter a title but then could not get back into the message body.

You need to describe step by step what you are trying to do.

There are a few of us that use an iPad with no problems. Matter of fact I'm sending this via my iPad.

If I try and create a new post, then enter a subject/title. I then try and hit next on the iPad or just try and go to the text box.. I never get the keyboard to pop up and allow me to type anything. But I can go to tags or icons and add.

The primary text entry box is where I have problems.

Works for me with my iPad. Never had a problem in over two years inputting text into a title or body text boxes.

Expand the screen (reverse of the two finger squeeze). Tap your finger in the text field multiple times.

You might want to try opening the text box with a stylus.

Sorry, but this is not a problem with the Technical Discussion Board software. Any problem you're having with the touch screen on your iPad is a problem on your iPad.

I also use an iPad to read the board and I am using it to make this post. I never had the problem you are indicating.
