    Missing Thread?

Am I having a senior moment or what? I thought I replied this morning to a thread started my Matthew Lamer about a 66 427 engine pad with a double stamp and a separately stamp L. Now I can't find a trace of that thread. There was nothing in the replies to upset anyone. What happened to the tread?

    Re: Missing Thread?

    Patrick,

First, moved this thread to the Help Forum where "how to" threads belong.

Second, to find your posts you can click on "View Your Posts" or "View Your Threads" in the dark menu at the top.

      Re: Missing Thread?

It does not show up in View your posts under my name or View Your Threads under Matthew Lamer. That's why it is a mystery to me. I was hoping other posters to it would at least confirm that I was not loosing my wits. That will not happen now because you moved my post to a place where those people will not notice it.

        Patrick,

Don't know why it wouldn't for you. I get this post made by you.

Try going to the Community, select Member's list and go to your Profile. Then click on latest posts.

You might also want to do a Control F5 (depress Control and F5 keys together) to refresh and get the latest page.

          Re: Missing Thread?

Gary: When I try the link you gave me I get a Forum message about an "invalid tread specified." When I try the my proflle, then latest posts, it does not show up.

            Mr. Boyd
since Gary took a break, maybe I can help. You have not lost your marbles, I can still see your post in the thread. The tread has been "soft" deleted per the OP (Mr. Larner) request per John Waggoner. As such it is still visible to the moderators in the first page of threads. Your post is the last one in the string. I am not sure why Mr. Larner asked for the thread to be deleted but apparently he did. Anyway, you do not need to make an appointment with your shrink. You are still OK,
            DH

ps- I just hovered on your name to get the pop up menu, clicked the view forum posts link for you, and I see all your posts including these in this thread and the one you are asking about from about 0800 this morning. So, it is still there, but no longer visible due to the soft delete.

              Patrick,

Sorry to lead you on a wild goose chase. Didn't see the thread was locked. Forest and trees syndrome.

Don - good catch, you saved the day.
