Is the online registration a cumbersome PIA or is it me?

No offense sir, but it's you.
It seems complicated because of the multiple pages that the program requires to cover all the aspects of the Registration form.
But it is really quite intuitive.
Work through it page by page, and be sure to go to the bottom of each page and hit the save button before moving to the next page.
Missing the save button for each page is the biggest problem most people have.

If you are not registering a car, you will not need to do anything on that page except hit the save button. On the judging preferences page mark down your requests, and hit the save button. The first page is your personal info page. Just check the data, make any corrections and hit the save button. I think the second page is for signing up for the schools, any activities and the banquet. Check them off and hit the save button. Finally you will come to the payment page where you indicate how to pay, and hit the button. You're registered!

Don, I'm NOT having a car judged, it has 1975 listed and wants ins. info. Pls adv. Regards Brian

you have to remove all data not applicable to this meet. I think the 1975 car that is shown must be saved from previous on line registration. Remove the data on the car from the car registration page and go down and hit save, then you should be able to move past that page without entering any insur or title info.

Your registration is reset. If you're not bringing a car, do not go to the car page.

Like Don advised, next time enter a Help Desk ticket https://www.ncrs.org/helpdesk/ I just happened to see this.
