Reply to Thread toolbar

Do you have to have a word processing program to get the toolbar to show on the reply Thread meassage area? I have a computer WIndows 7 (new), but it does not have a word processing program ie WIndows Word. I have office on another computer and the toolbar is there (WindowsXP and office 2000, I know outdated.

Phil,

On your new PC with Internet Explorer 11 or 10 - turn on compatibility view. Google for how to info. Try depress Alt key, go to Tools & select compatibility mode.

Thanks that worked..... my days of doing IT things are well passed and really have not kept up (old age),
