Re: C1-1960 CASCADE GREEN
Dave,
The cascade green 60 color is still available in lacquer from PPG, or at least it was last year. It is a very unusual color and one that was very high on my choice of colors when I restored my 60! It is nothing like the Cascade Green on eariler models, it is a light metallic green and very striking.

Re: C1-1960 CASCADE GREEN
The Cascade Green is a great color. I went to the Chevy Vettefest in Chicago and someone had a C1 in Cascade Green. You just want to kep looking at the car.
I snapped a couple pics of it. Hopefully they turn out when they are developed.

Ryan,
You are absolutely right that 60 at the show was awesome and I got a nice digital of it when I wasa at the show. In fact I had the 65 direcly in front of the Cascade Green machine and spent a fair amount of time sharing stories with the owner.- Top

Re: C1-1960 CASCADE GREEN
Dave,
I know the owner of the "VetteFest '60 Cascade Green" very well and I know that he has had some recent touch up work done on it recently. I will try to get you paint codes within a day or so if that will help. Unless someone else wants these, I will post to your personal email address. And yes, it is one gorgeous car! Great guy for an owner also.

Re: C1-1960 CASCADE GREEN
Dave,
The owner says they used a base/clear with #323A2 code from PPG/ Sikkens. The NCRS book lists the following for original acrylic laquer: Cascade Green Metallic: Dupont #4029-L, Ditzler is DDL42693 and R&M #A-1214. Good Luck.

Re: C1-1960 CASCADE GREEN
So can you forward a copy of your pic of the Cascade Green car? I've never seen one in that colour. I have original paint chips from 1960 and it shows Cascade Green, but I can't really picture it actually on a Vette in my head.
Thanks!
