Will 69 seats work in a 68? Since I've owned my vette, I have become aware that I do not have a headrest. There are two seats in good condition from 69 that I would purchase if they would fit my 68. My assumption is that that would, but thought asking first would be better. Also any idea what a good price would be for these (used)?

The seats will interchange between and 68 and 69.

My 69 has the early 68 seats in it. The backrest, release knobs are a pain, especially the right side seat. I would like to find some late 68 or, preferably, 69 seats but have tried several places with no luck or places asking $1K for a rebuilt pair. If you find some 69's and would like to sell your (late only) 68 seats, contact me. jackdr

There is a difference in seat covers; however, that would make no difference if you are going to recover.

I should qualify my last post by saying standard black vinyl '68 seat covers have been in many '69s.

Thanks. Good news because I really want headrests. I plan on keeping the 68 seats for future sale with the car.

Just received 8 inches of snow yesterday, so I'll be stuck in the garage. Not always a bad thing.
