The right side air vent on my 66 roadster won't close because it appears the door is just flopping around on the end of the cable. It looks like the door if off the hinge. I have blocked it with a piece of cardboard in the interest of creature comfort. How much of a pain is this to fix? Is the assy removeable from the inside?
Thanks in advance

I just took these doors out of my 65. At first I couldn't figure out how they came out but then I realized they are held in place by a spring device on the shaft. Just pull down on the spring and it comes right out. You can buy a seal and rivit kit to replace the rubber seal around the door. The cable is held on with a press-on nut that you can also get from a vender if you drop and lose it like I did.
