C3 (75) wiper motor gear cover?

Can anyone please help me in locating the plastic cover that installs over the wiper motor drive gears. Seems like 75 and maybe 76 only had a seperate washer pump and use a plain black plastic cover over the gears. Also looks like when you buy a new or rebuilt wiper motor it comes without this cover. If I could even get a GM part number on this I might be able to find one. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi - I have an extra one that I think will work for you. It came off my 70 and is like new. I purchased a new wiper motor and 5 port pump that had a cover with it. Please email me a photo, if possible.

I don't think that the cover used for 75-82 Corvette wiper motors was the same as the cover supplied with SERVICE wiper motors. The SERVICE wiper motor cover is GM #4961229 but, as I say, I think that this was just designed to be a "temporary" cover.

I THINK that the cover used in PRODUCTION on the 75-82 wiper motors included a switch and/or terminal connector. If so, this cover was originally GM #22010544 and later became GM #22038926. Unfortunately, the latter part was discontinued in July, 2000.

Looks like I found one. A nice guy in Bellville, Ohio is sending one that he has to remove from a complete unit. Thanks very much for all of your help and e-mails. These little details just make me crazy!
