No, they're not. They were discontinued about 10 years ago. VERY difficult to locate in NOS form.

I was asked this question over in the C3 CorvetteForum. I checked the various catalogues, but....Even Dr. Rebuild does not seem to have them. Any options other than salvage yards?

Yes, another possible source would be Ebay. I know a lot of people don't care for it, and it can be trying at times, but it definitely is a source of hard to find parts. I just recently found an NOS A/C control switch for my 72 that I could not locate anywhere else. A friend of mine just bought the entire back glass assembly (with struts, hinges, etc.) for an 82CE off of Ebay.
