Does anyone know of a supplier for the correct carb on my 70 bb automatic.It does not have to be date code correct as long as it is correct for my car

If this is a driver I bought a carb at the local auto parts store that worked fine.

I bought a carb at a local parts store for my 70 BB.

The first time I drove it fuel overflowed out the top. When I took it apart I found metal shavings inside that held the needle off the seat. Had to blow out the whole thing out. Still tinkering with it trying to get it to work right.

I paid the pro's big money to rebuild a quardrajet about $750. two vendors and shipping and had thease results

1- overflowed 3 times

2- parts missing

3-Vacuum pipe driven in threaded hole left front

4- Lost carb for 6 months had to replace it

5-Dirt old gas crystals below seats had to fix on the road ( last straw)

Bought book and now work on them myself less shipping less headaches and use the extra time to figure the problem out myself.
