    capacitor

When installing a new main dash harness on a 1967, how does one get the end of the capacitor to plug into the ammeter with the harness connector? It takes an extreme amout of pressure and I'm afriad of breaking something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Re: capacitor

Can't answer directly, but check your local electronics supply store for a special Y-shaped stamped metal connector, chances are they have one that has a male and 2 females (I assume you are concerned here with mating two male connectors to a single female harness connector) or vice-versa if you need that. Look on the rack where they hang all the baggies of red and blue wiring connectors. Some auto stores may carry them, too.
