Re: I heard it on good authority

That Joe is already designing his second four wheeled project.

A 350/350 John Deere riding lawn mower.

I would be interested to know how he's going to stretch those lil turf tires onto those AZ rims though?

Best of luck, health, and happiness Joe,

    Chuck Rice

              >>> P.S. When I left IBM in 1991 I did not get a retirement dinner. I was "escorted" out the door.

Congrats on the retirement. I can't wait until I can retire to spend more time working on my hobbies. The only problem is that day is approx. 9490 days(26 years) away.

                  Congratulations and best wishes *TL*

                  Joe,

Congratulations. I hope now that you will have time to share some of your vast knowledge with us here at the NCRS Technical Discussion Board. Since August 8, 1998 you have only posted 11,579 messages here on the Tech Board to help your fellow NCRS members and others of the Corvette Community. I hope now you will have time to pick up the pace a little.

Seriously no one who visits the Tech Board for a little help is left behind by you, and all of us who visit or frequent this board really admire you for your sincere help. There are a lot of Corvettes across the world that owe you debt of gratitude.

We all wish you many years of healthy and happy retirement.

Re: 6 saturdays and 1 sunday!!! I'll second that

I retired on Armistice Day of '96. I've invented all sorts of hobbies and projects — no problem keeping busy at all. And I am thoroughly enjoying it. You will too, Joe, so welcome to the club.

Joe, thanks for not taking my name in vane in your previous post. You had me scared there for a moment....when I read your caption the first thing I thought was "oh no....he's not going be posting helpful information anymore."
So, it is with a thankful grin that I now extend to you warm wishes for a healthy and happy retirement. You are welcome to visit us in Canada any time you choose and I hope you will take us up on the offer one day soon.
                        Best regards,
                        Rick.

                          Joe:

Congratulations and Good Luck! More than 32 years with a single employer is a rare thing these days.

I always find your posts to this board are helpful. Hopefully you will not be retiring from here.
