Was there a strike, production slow down or other acts of God to affect the engine foundry(or other cast items)in their production in the months of October through December of 1959? If so,how did these events affect actual assembly of completed engines or related components?
Is there a source reference as to the relationship of casting, assembly and installation dates of engines, heads, intakes, or other dated components, so as to more closely identify a specific engine as defined by the casting dates of the components to the build date of a vehicle?
Are there purchase order records to indicate the depth of inventory on hand of components by month or other order cycle?
Thank you for any insights on issues that may seem petty to some but may have historic or assembly value.
