Anyone out there have details on C2 factory press molded fiberglass, such as density, percent glass, type of resin? Thanks

No one jumped on this one I see. I dont know of anyone who would have useful information on the density of the fiberglass. I can give you a bunch of it and you could measure it for yourself. The parts varied greatly as to density and fiberglass content. They even varied somewhat as to the thickness and other factors. Original panels were made with polyester resin. -

Hi Wayne, thanks for the response. It occurred to me that I had never seen specs on the fg itself and started wondering. I think I'll get some original pieces from a local vette body shop and measure it, just for a baseline. Your info about it's variability is interesting and helpful. I'll post the results in case anyone else is interested.Comment
