C2: correct '66 glove box items

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if any of the following items were included in the glove box for a '66 with a late build date?

Key envelope (not the larger plastic envelope with the key logo on it)
Warranty book envelope
Custom feature accessories booklet

None of these items are listed in the '66 TIM&JG, but I was told they should be
in the glove box nonetheless.

Gary - I suggest checking the AIM. I'm not aware of a POP envelope or that the accessories "advertizing" brochure was part of the packet that was with the car from the factory. Dealers did add some items as I have seen some dealer specific items but the dealers names are generally all over them so it's unlikely they came from the factory. Pete

C2: correct '66 glove box items

Pete,

I did look in the AIM (UPC 0, C1)and it doesn't show any of the 3 items I listed. However, as best I can tell the AIM also does not list the pocket guide FM, part # 7288001, which the JG says should be in the glove box, so I figured if the pocket guide wasn't listed in the AIM, maybe some other required items are not listed either.

Gary - Check UPC U69, Sheet A1, #1 for reference to the Pocket Guide. #1 refers you back to UPC0 - Misc. Shipping List. Somewhat indirect but a reference none the less. Also, UPC0, Sheet C1, #4 indicates the Envelope - Owner's Booklet is to be used as Owner Protection Booklet container. Pete
