Hi - Can the steel fuel line and vapor line on the right side of a 70 be replaced without dismantling the car? Looking at the AIM and the vehicle it looks as if there may be a couple of brackets that may be impossible to reach.
Lee:
I replaced both the fuel lines (fuel and vapor return) and the brake lines on my 69 without reomoving the body. It is difficult but very do-able. The fuel line clips are hard to undo but with patience and the right tools (and attitude) you can do it. If you want a blow by blow descripton on how I did it I will be happy to ablige but to answer your queston, don't let anyone tell it can't be done.
Hope this helps.
Jeff
