    FRONT BACKING PLATE GASKET

    I AM INSTALLING MY FRONT BACKING PLATES ON MY 1961. DOES THE BACKING PLATE GO ON THE SPINDLE AND THEN THE GASKET AND THEN THE HUB? I CAN NOT FIND A DIAGRAM OF THE WAY IT SHOULD GO TOGETHER. AS ALWAYS THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP. HAPPY HOLIDAYS, JOE DELUCA

      Joe, The gasket goes between the backing plate and the spindle. Steve

          Also with no diagram, I'm having difficulty visualizing where this gasket goes and what its' shape is. Is there a diagram or phot reference available anywhere? Or, please expand with a few (or more) carefully chosen words!
