    Throwout Bearing C-3

What is the best type of throw-out bearing to install in a 1968 327/350HP engine with 4 speed transmission in terms of longevity and also noise.
I am geting ready to install bellhousing to newly rebuilt motor and have heard much discussion over the years about various types of throwout bearings being better than others. I can also remember that when I last drove the car 10 years , the bearing was noisy and of course I would not reinstall a used one after all the trouble of rebuilding the entire car.
Any suggestions including brands and types would be welcome. GM, aftermarket, part numbers, etc. etc.
    Thank you in advance

I prefer the old style Delco clutch release bearings. However, these have been discontinued for years and are hard to find. So, they're not much of an option for most folks.

If I needed to purchase a clutch release bearing for a 56-81 Corvette today, I would use a GM #15680264.
