Re: Window Felt replacements
Window felts are fairly easy to replace. Glass does not need to be removed. Take off door panels and rear door cap. Remove screws holding inner window bezel, remove bezel and strip off old felt. New felt should be held on with staples.
Outer bezel is a little trickier to remove. It is held in by several screws that can be removed by reaching under the glass and feeling up along the outer door panel. Once the outer bezel is removed, the procedure for removal and installation of the felt is the same as for the inner felt.
Hope this is enough explanation.- Top

Re: Window Felt replacements
This is a great thread as I am in the middle of my 65 conv interior restoration. My felts are worn too and need to be replaced. My question is how in the hec do I get the window channel out? Do I have to take the window glass out, or is it a matter of just a few screws? Looking forward to the continuous expert advice that makes this format so great. Thanks, KAS- Top
