Do any of you have a repro of one of these bags. On the bottom, does it say Reprint or is it just 'PRINTED IN USA', the date,the part number 3950779 and would the date... 3-19-68 mean 66-68 or a 69-72?? I realize the date would depict the 1968 model year but knowing the general...

I have the owners manual bag you are referring to. It says "Printed in U.S.A." at the lower left, "3-19-68" about 2/3 of the way to the right, and "Part Number 3950779" at the right lower corner. I have no idea what the original bag said or how it was lettered.

If it helps any, my owner’s manual bag for a vehicle produced in mid February of 1967 is dated 3-16-66 and has “PART NUMBER 3834959” in the bottom right corner.
Thanks for the responses guys. I am really trying to determine if the one I have is a Repop or an original. Its in an aftermarket bag but its been in there for many many years and I have had orginal parts in other companies wrappers over the years. John H has told me that it would be for 68 and up so that part of it has been solved.
