Does the socket/switch assm. have a GM part no. stamped on it or will the Long Island assm. unit be OK. to install. I know it is only a few dollars more but has anyone had any luck reusing the shield on the bulb unit...
I have re-used the sheild with luck. Ii took a very fine grit sandpaper and cleaned the connection. The only issue I have had is that I ordered a bulb from zip and they sent the wrong bulb. Only a few bucks, but your on track ordering from LI Corvette.
