68 Vette Vacuum Relay mounting location

Am trying to find out where the Vacuum Relay (page 12-11, 1968 Chev. Chassis Service Manual)is mounted on my 68 convertible.

Previous owner unmounted it, and it's just hanging there, would like to put it back.

Any help would be much appreciated!

There are 2 vacuum relay valves used on a 1968 Corvette. One is for the headlight door actuation. This one is mounted on the steel reinforcement beam just forward of the forward edge of the hood surround panel. There are 2 weld nuts on the reinforcement, just left of center as I recall, where the vacuum relay valve mounts.

The other vacuum relay valve, which is identical to the one used for the headlight system, is for the wiper door actuator. This valve is mounted on the forward side of the right side inner fender well. There is a small tapping plate there attached by two rivets to the fiberglass which serves as the nut plate for the 2 screws which affix the valve. Even if the plate has been removed, you should still be able to see the 4 holes in the inner fender (2 for the rivets and 2 for the bolts that secure the valve).
