    '57 Radio fuse

First, let me say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all that have helped me over the past year. My question today is, what amperage fuse goes between the radio and the power pack on a '57 radio?.....thanks

I thought the owners manual would tell but don't see it.
My 56 has a 5A fuse between the two.

Current drain is 3 amp with tuner at rest and 12 amp in the search mode. Modle 3725156.
In 1992 Straight Talk Mag I wrote the differance of a Car and Corvette Radio.
      1. CAR has the power pack lead on the left going over the radio, and the power lead (wires)coming from the radio connect to the main harness.
      2. CORVETTE has the power pack lead on the right, and the main harness power lead plugs in to the radio.
56 -57 Corvette useing a car radio must cut or add to the Corvette Main harness to supplie power to the radio.

The A.I.M. sez the '57 radio fuse (in the radio power feed position in the accessory fuse panel) is #455640; have no idea what that is.
