1971 Big Block Valve Cover Bolts

I read somewhere that when the Braided Ground Wires were attached to the valve covers that two painted valve cover bolts on each side were removed and Zinc plated bolts put in their places at the ground locations. Can anyone verify this.

As I understand it, the engine was painted and then regular valve cover bolts were used when the ground wires (plug wires)were installed.

A longer bolt was used on the ones with the bunched ground wires and they were not painted engine color. On 67s they usually were SBC or RBW, I am not sure of the later models.
