Need help in locating a source for the fiberglass heat insulators for side pipes on my 64 coupe? Cannot seem to locate any in my catalogs. Can the old ones be refurbished? Thanks!

Long Island Corvette Supply has the black fiberglas insulators (long and short curved) for your side pipes (1-800-466-6367). I had good luck bonding them wth high temp J-B Weld epoxy (1-800-529-3530) which I bought from my local hardware. As far as reusing your existing insulators - it depends on condition of the units in question. You can most likely rebond but you have to ask yourself does condition warrant reuse ?
