I was wondering if any of the discussion board members are planning to attend the 4/18 meet in Meriden Ct. I'm driving my '58 to its first outing/judging!

Re: N.E. Chapter 4/18 Meet
Advice:
(1) You'll be inundated with fresh/new information from your Flight
Judging experience.
(2) Don't try to remember each/every thing you're told. The average
human brain can retain 5 +/- 2 items in one gulp.
(3) Expect some errors of commission (things told you that are wrong)
and omission (things not told you). Judges are your fellow NCRS
members and are only human....
(4) Relax, have fun, learn, enjoy!
(5) If something's told you that you feel is important and you don't
really understand it, ask if the judges can 'show' you. Often,
there will be a Corvette nearby that's got the item in question.
A picture in your mind is worth umpteen words.
(6) Consider 'playing' with the club. Signing up to be an observer
judge helps a whole bunch in understanding. You get credit for
the effort and get to see the process up close and personal. You
come away with a feeling of what your fellow NCRS members who are
donating their time in the judging capacity 'sweat' to help you
earn your award and learn about your classic Corvette.- Top
