AC PF 141 Available?

I have a stash of about 6 AC PF 141 filters, some from the USA, with the original thinner paper, and some from Mexico that say Duraguard and have the thicker "fuzzy" paper. I have noticed in the past 6 months I no longer see the PF141 filters in my local AutoZone or Pep Boys.....did AC discontinue this filter or is it just not stocked due to low demand? Since these cartridges fit in my 66 and 67 vettes, I would like more on hand if they are getting scarce. Does Wix, Purolator, or NAPA have an equivalent? Thx, Craig

The AC PF-141 has been discontinued from the GM parts system. However, as far as I can tell, it's still available through the Delco parts system. The demand through the GM parts system was likely too low to justify carrying it. However, I would expect that Delco will have it for awhile. Delco tends to carry service parts like filters for older vehicles longer since that's where most of older vehicle owners seek out service parts like filters.
