Corvette Central shows a pair of numbers 3 and 7 that they call Radiator/Expansion tank inspection decals. Looking through the 63-67 Fact Book there are several pictures with the numbers 3, 7 and 8 on the top or front of expansion tanks. I haven't seen any on radiators.
My 65 does not have these numbers and I am wondering if it should have and what exactly do they mean?
My research tells me that the "3" goes on the expansion tank and the "7" goes on the radiator. I too have ask about just "where" they belong on each, but have yet to find out. I have a 327/365 also. Mine is Glen Green / Saddle Interior. It is a Coupe.
