Santa Claus brought me a hard bound book titled Corvette Fifty Years. The author is Randy Leffingwell. It is dated 2002. It is 384 pages of outstanding photography and what so far seems to be interesting and very accurate written text. It covers all 50 years and although I have just started to go through it I would say it apperrs to be great reading and looking. Kurt Ritter, Chevrolet General Manager wrote the Foreward.

Re: Speaking of Books !!!!!!
Post of 12/30 re: Corvette 50 years mysteriously gone. I agree Dave, the photo's are excellant but unfortunately there appears to be quite a few inaccuracies. In my post dated 12/30, a few were listed. I quess I just didn't expect to see so damn many! Otherwise, the book is definately a keeper.- Top

I did a search for that books critique here
And you are right, it is gone. Now why would that list of messages disappear? It seems that criticism of some Corvette material is not allowed, while others are encouraged. Is there a list that we should abide by?
