the holes refer to the fiberglass area just above the rear differential crossmember. There are two holes as if to access the the crossmember bolts when body is on frame. currently the body is off and unable to tell if this is factory and these need to be there or did someone cut not knowing

i could not find any such diagram in both 68-69 AIM , I do certainly appreciate the response . Please the area i refer to is the area directly behind the battery tray area , middle of the corregated fiberglass floor, directly above this crossmember, i suspect our assumptions may be correct but before i glass this area , i want to be certain and possibly ask one of the members if they might have a portion of this floor section , about the size of two silver dollars , it is a thought. then when inspected it is black glass instead of the oppaque ..- Top

There were originally no holes in this area. ADDING holes in this area, though, is a relatively common practice for folks "looking for an easier way".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
