Does anyone have a chart or definitive knowledge of what color the parking brake cover should be on a '67 with the code 450 combination white/blue interior? The TM&JG says the cover "should match the seats" (white with the 450 trim), but I have also seen them in blue, which continues the blue color of the console back to the blue-carpeted division panel. The A.I.M. shows #3897370 chart for the cover (which would show which molded-in-color cover went with which trim combination), but I have no idea what the chart actually showed.

Re: '67 Parking Brake Cover Color
John, My '67 had the original white/blue interior in it when I bought it from the third owner. The parking brake cover (housing) was and still is white.

Re: '67 Parking Brake Cover Color
John,
Is the plastic itself blue or was it painted/dued blue?
My white cover is more like a milky creamy color. Not a true white on the inside, but it was dufinitely spray dyed white on the outside. I would try to remove the blue dyr/paint and redo it in white.

Re: Yes, it was white when I got it.
Jerry, You continue to amaze me with more historical facts about "our" '67! The parking brake cover housing was also a milky-white plastic material ... reproductions I've seen are black and you have to paint them whatever color suits the interior. (Pictures available for documentation at Winter Regional Meet in Kissimmee, Florida.) See you there?
