Anybody out there with an original 73, I am looking for proper color (dark Blue) for interior pieces. I ordered dark blue from one catolog and it is much lighter shade than what is in the car. I noticed the 73/74 dark blue is a different color code than dark blue in a 72, is it acutually a difernt color. Thanks in advance. John

The 73 color is called Midnight Blue. Believe that the 72 is more of a bright blue. I have color samples posted on my web site, The '73 Spot. Check out the "Technical Info" section.

I have two 73's with the midnight blue interior and the shades that you order today many times don't match very good I had the same problem with 73 dark red. If it's way off I would send it back. I have found the best way to get a good match is to take a sample to one of the big shows and compare the color match before you buy. If you need to spray the hard parts like seat backs it may not be the same either. Any way you do it don't expect to get a perfect match on all the parts.Lyle
