    '67 Replacement Carpet - Who's is best ?

I am planning to replace the original black carpet in my '67 coupe sometime in the near future. I would like some opinions as to who makes the best replacement carpet sets and what price range they fall in. I have heard that Romeo Engineering makes good carpets, but they seem to only list carpets up to '64.. Also, has anyone used those ceramic and aluminum faced carpet heat barriers ? Thanks in advance.

Hello Craig; I just installed Romeo Engineering's black carpet in my 69. They sewed the carpet with the bindings just as shown in the 69 manual. I'm certain that they make carpet for your '67. I was very pleased with their product. They could have left a little extra at the top of the toe boards however. I've used Al Knoch in my 63 and 54 with good results. Others with more experience with 67's might elaborate further. Chuck Gongloff

I ordered a black carpet set from Al Knoch's for my 66. I put it in and I am quite happy with it. i compared it to the one I pulled out and they were very close, if not exact. The only problem is that I do not know the history of the carpet I pulled out to tell you if it was original or not. Gary
