Why Not Start With The Guy You Bought

it from and the state where it was titled and work backwards; that way you might find the owner that crashed it into the pickup truck, necessitating the repair from the middle of the front wheels forward, minus the headlight motors ($$$$). He'd be able to put you in touch with the body shop that grafted the 64-7 coupe rear window onto the Kellsion/Fiberfab/??? hardtop and adapted the Kellison rear quarters. Then for REAL jollies, you could askl him how much $$$ to correct his own work?

I can tell you who built your car! If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was built by Ford Motor Co. when they were doing development work on the GT-40! If you'll notice, your rear brake scoops look just like what was on the GT-40 and I'm sure that's where Ford got their inspiration from.

Post your address at Fort Campbell and your Company Commander's name and rank and I will be down to see you. I live only about 1 1/2 hours north of you and it would be an easy drive.

I can't wait to see this car again. First time I saw it was in 1963 at the Ford Product Development Center in Dearborn, Michigan. Can it be that this car has surfaced after all these years?

          Mike,

But then we all know that the holes on the GT-40 didn't even look the same. And more importantly we all know that the holes on the GT-40 were engine inlet air holes. Saying as how the GT-40 was a rear engined car.

          Thanks
          Gary

To say nothing about the fact that it is a horrendously ugly.

Looks like it was built for Ray Charles.

            Gawd.
