I'm trying to rebuild the trailing arms on a 68 vette, and am having no luck finding clearances for bearings, bushings, etc. Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Thanx

Re: Trailing Arm Rebuild
No, no no! Do not send them out. This stuff isn't magic! As long as you have the right tools, do some reading, understand what is involved to do the work and are somewhat confident in your mechanically abilities, you can do this type of work. Granted, sometimes the tools can be expensive but, you maybe could rent it or your local NCRS chapter may have one that you could borrow. Or, better yet, if you are a chapter member, you could make it a 'tech' meeting as part of the monthly meeting and have others help you and learn at the same time.
I do not know about the '68 but for my '63, the Shop Manual was all I needed for the specs that I was looking for. So, you may want to get a copy of the Shop Manual for the '68. Although you may already have one and it isn't as complete. I would be surprised if that was true but, like I said, I don't know about the '68 Shop manual.
Good Luck,
