Re: 63 Aviator
I agree.
Car is barely legal of retaining the title or description "Corvette."
He writes as if he's been actually reading and believing all those stupid eBay descriptions. They're so deep I need to wear hip boots while I read them. I'm surprised he doesn't have music embedded on his page to listen to sappy stuf while reading a sappy verbage.
You wouldn't EVER get that many people who liked Corvettes to ever stop in the way he descibes and gush praise.
He seems to "love" this site as no one else ever has, yet then stabs some of our most knowledgeable members.
Is there a way to block his ID from posting? It's stuff like this that shut down the old General Forum 18 months ago.
But what do I know. I've only been here since the beginning...and now he'll probably flame me too.

Re: 63 Aviator
I would reccomend just not responding to him. From his first post at the CF he has been doing nothing but stirring the pot. If everyone just refuses to respond then he will either modify his behavior or go away.

Re: 63 Aviator
His current thread on the C2-CF is just hilarious. Somebody was not properly respectful of his car, so he invited the guy to come down to Ft. Campbell KY, where he is a pilot of an Apache Attack Helicopter, and he would thrash the lily-livered @#$%%.
Others have tried to be polite, but he can't seem to understand that CORVETTE affaciendos just plain don't like his kind of abomination. I'd post a flame that would give him a fit, except I'm afraid that, with his 18 yr-old mentality, he might do himself serious harm.

Re: 63 Aviator
Geezer,
Check out the last couple of posts! Someone posted a big line-of-c**p about the car being built for the dirt track and figure 8 tracks, and he thanked him for the info! This is a whole lot more entertaining than what is on TV tonight!

Re: Gary Hessel....
I have to tell you I missed this post the first time around and after reading all of the later posts about the individule, I just had to page down and read the original post and reply's. Well,I have to say I was laughing out loud and pretty hard at some of the members witty comments, some of you guys should do a stand-up comic routine. But with that said, I feel this guy is genuine. Maybe not to quick, but sincere enough. I think this is his first Vette, and I will venture to say alot of us here did not know a whole lot about squat way back when. So, lets not take him out behind the wood shed a beat the snot out of him just yet, I hope you get my point, and it's not the one on GARY'S head. It was funny though.

Re: Gary Hessel....
Greg- If you want entertainment, you've got to catch his act on CorvetteForum (C1/C2) section. Last night nearly resembled a WWF session. After following this thread for maybe a week or two, I've come to the conclusion that this fellow is either deranged or extremely talented at creating a character out of a John Carpenter movie. Just imagine - this guy flying a fully armed Apache heli over the great state of Tennesee!- Top
