Recently got a call from someone that just purchased the first 2003 anniversary car off the line. Question was ,is the car worth more because it is the first off the line? Any insight will be Appreciated Thanks Robert.

Unless it has rare or unusual options, I would not think so. Since they seem to be building as many 50th models as they can sell, I think it will be a very long time, if ever, that these cars appreciate.
Personally, I find the 50th models a big disappointment. The suspension system is cool but I don't see a compelling reason to buy one versus a low miles C5 that is 2 or 3 years old and can be purchased for much less.
If history is any indication, I would expect these cars to be selling for significantly less than sticker price in a year or two, even for cars with low miles. -

As to the first, or last. The only place I've seen where there is some perceived increased worth is on eBay. Rare and unusual options, as Mike wrote, are far more important in determining worth. And, again, referring to Mike, these are not exactly low-volume production as far a Corvettes are concerned.
If this was THE very first 1953 Corvette or the very last Corvette ever made (God forbid) then I could see a significant increase in value but one of thousands that just happens to be the first...naw.Comment
