67 carpet - door panels HELP!!

I was wanting to get some imput on who makes the best carpet & door panels. my door panels have some slight but very noticable, cracks in the arm rest area, would i be better off leaving the original on, or replacing them, points wise. i just purchased some carpet from a well known manufactor,(Just say AL) but it looks cheep to me. The color is bright blue if it matters. Thanks in advance

Re: 67 carpet - door panels HELP!!

Al`s stuff is usually pretty good, but this is one area that I have found some problems. The fit and finish is OK, but the color of the bright blue is not correct. I must say that it has been a long time since I bought the bright blue and maybe he has rectified the problem, but original 67 bright blue carpet is not the same color as the other vinyl parts of the interior. It is a much darker color much like the color of the lower windshield trim piece. ACC has the correct color, or at least they used to, but there are issues with fading with them.

For '67, ACC's Loops, color & pattern are closer..

      to the original.

For a color such as bright blue, I highly recommend contacting ACC and asking for samples of various blues. They are online, so you can narrow down your request based on what you see on their site.

Then, they are usually happy to make a set in the color you like best.
