C1 deck lid latches

Could someone describe the correct type of nut or nut washer combination used under the deck lid latches on a 61?? I've seen different combinations, a separate 12-24 nut and washer, also a one piece nut/with large washer. The JM has no specific details on this. Peter

Peter,

A nut, lockwasher, & plain washer are used to mount the Hood Latch to a threaded stud plate that is riveted to the body. If you look at "view D" in the AIM, You will see this detail.

Sorry for misleading you, I'm talking about the latches that pull the conv. top down on the deck lid. Peter

The Corvette Central Rear soft Top Latch Screw set comes with the screws, Nut, lockwasher and a Plain washer. They usually do a good job of matching the original. I have my old set and will check what they were in 1961. (Sorry about the fast reading).
