76 Models have only two inner spark plug heat shields. The Assembly Manual shows them both on the right side. The Judging Manual says they are on the front two plugs. Does anyone know which is right?

Re: Plug Wire Heat Shields
Jeff, Thanks for your response. I wan't to be clear about the shields I am talking about. They are not the outer shields that connect to the verticle shields coming down from the distributor and held on by wing nuts. These are inner shields that bolt to the block. It is my understanding that older vettes had both inner and outer shields (4 each). The 76 has only two outer shields, used on the rear plugs, both sides. The inner shields are a mystery. The AIM shows they are both on the right side. The judging manual says they are on the front plugs. Thanks again!- Top
