I would like to install a power antenna in my ZO6. Has anyone done this? If so, how difficult was it and which replacement power antenna did you use. Thanks for your help. Jim

Re: Power antenna installation in a ZO6
I assume you're talking about a C5 Z06, not a '63 Z-06. NCRS is primarily focused on vintage Corvettes, '53 to '85, though many vintage Corvette owners also own late models.
You might get a better response at www.corvetteforum.com (Z06 Discussuon) or
www.C5registry.com.

Re: Power antenna installation in a ZO6
MidAmerica sells one....I think for about $200. They claim you can install it in two hours. I've also heard from people who actually did it that you have to take out the passenger seat and the carpet and run the cable up to the radio to make the connection. That sounds like more than two hours work to me.
The radio is going to sound like crap anyway since the reception is so poor. The regular C-5's have the antenna wire embedded in the windshield and the reception is superior.- Top
