Own a 1963 Split Window Coupe. Original owner bought the car from STAR CHEVROLET in East Orange, NJ - dealership closed business years ago. The car was originally registered in Virginia and then exported/imported into Switzerland around 1967. The Virginia DMV said they do not retain records for a car that old that ceased being registered in that state. I have been told you can get a lot of information from Swiss garages on cars imported into Switzerland. Has anyone in this august group ever contacted any garage in Switzerland to do this? Does anyone know where I would start? I got this information about contacting a Swiss garage from the Swiss government, which is all they told me I should do. The VIN #30837S119367 and is a black exterior and red interior car.
